Lights on, kill switch, and life jackets; otherwise they will be
sent to the back. New rule at
Buggs; there is one bridge at Rudd’s w/4 - 5mph no wake zone. You have to kick your boat out of gear
or use trolling motor. You can get
a ticket.
- Region

the BFN VA JSC at Smith
Mountain Lake. Also, Region 2 is getting ready for the
Children’s Miracle Network in October at the Parkway Marina on October 5,
2008.
- Region

other members in his region will help as needed. Randy Hinman gave everyone a handout

and over 50 youth attended the first weekend of August event. They had DGIF to shock the fish and
show. They have four events per
year in region 7. They got a live
release boat this year. Checkered Flag Toyota sponsors their region. They now have two Toyota trucks. The region has been down in
participation this year like everyone else. They have 100% payback.
- Region
10 - Rocking
along and they have finished the tournament year. Centralizing tournaments will make
region 10 happy.
- Steve
Woodroof, region 2, thinks we should cut the goody bags and just do the
raffle at our state tournaments. Directors
will vote at the November meeting after taking a vote from the clubs. Mike Bryant, region 5, thinks the goodie bags should stay as normal. Another option is to have a 50/50 for 3
days and draw on the final day at the weigh-in. Mike Bryant, region 5, made a motion to add the 50/50
at CMN and Ivan Morris, region 7, second.
